Youth Ministries

Pastor Mario Chingufo, director of youth ministries for the Pentecostal Assemblies of God of Namibia, has a passion to reach the young people of this nation with the gospel. At this year's national youth convention there were approximately 80 young people in attendance, as well as several adults and youth leaders. Missionary Gaylord Brown, featured speaker at the convention, reported that 17 young people made first-time decisions for salvation, and over 25 young people came forward to re-commit their lives to Christ.

Please join us in praying with Pastor Mario for youth ministries in Namibia. We ask you to especially pray for:

• revival among the youth in our churches
• more workers in our local churches who will get involved in youth ministries
• more opportunities to minister in high schools and hostels (high school boarding houses)
• wisdom in addressing the HIV/AIDS crisis among youth with biblical teaching and a message of hope
• possible evangelism outreaches with youth ministry teams from the USA in 2006
