Children's Ministries
Pastor Charmaine Hendricks has served as the National Children's
Pastor for the Pentecostal A/G since 2004. Her focus has been on
teaching pastors and church leaders about the need for children’s
ministries and on training workers in the local churches. As a result
many churches have begun to reach out to children through children's
church programs and kids club activities. Together with Pastor
Charmaine local church workers have had opportunities to minister in
public and private schools and at community events.
In 2006, Pastor Hendricks will be leaving Namibia to take a position at
a ministry training center in South Africa. However, the need for
dedicated leadership in the area of children’s ministries remains.
Please pray with us during this time of transition. We ask you to pray
especially for:
- dedicated, qualified leader(s) for the national Children's Ministries department
- local church workers to exhibit creativity, faithfulness, passion and vision in working with children's ministries
- continued opportunities to minister in schools and at public events
- children to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and firmly established in their faith
